There are now only two months to go before KoHoSo Radio 66 must meet its final listening goal to remain online. The station’s advertising and promotional campaign is now going to be at full throttle.

Here are some of the new things going on with KoHoSo Radio 66 to give you more options to enjoy and interact with the station.

KoHoSo Radio 66 now has its own Twitter account at @KoHoSoRadio66. This account will have an auto-tweet every ten minutes showing what is now playing on the station. I will also live-tweet other news from the station plus other items of interest.

KoHoSo Radio 66 is now available on Streema. They have free apps for both Android and iOS plus a regular online interface. I will add a button for Streema to the "Listen to KoHoSo Radio 66" sticky post sometime on Monday. For those wondering, yes, I have already requested a correction on the location which has the station in Crestline, Ohio instead of Crestline, California.

Feeding "Now Playing" information through TuneIn should begin within the next one or two days. They’re a bit slow to get me the information I need to start this

KoHoSo Radio 66 is now a proud sponsor of Route 66 News. I have even included a free promotional announcement for it on the station.

Now, time to get really serious. As I start this campaign, things are not looking good for the future of KoHoSo Radio 66. When my host, Radionomy, went down for two-and-a-half days back in early February, it killed the momentum the station had in gaining new listeners. There are quite a few regulars that never came back. Perhaps worst of all is that Radionomy is apparently not going to give stations that were not up for evaluation that week any credit for this loss.

With that, I need your help to supplement my own advertising and promotion. I truly need you to help me spread the word to keep KoHoSo Radio 66 online. Keep your eyes and ears open for any opportunity to let somebody know about this station…and, be prepared to help them out if they’re not tech-savvy so they can listen on their computer or mobile device.

I’m going to give this everything I’ve got because I don’t know if I will have the desire to go through all this stress and expense a second time if this attempt fails. So, please…if KoHoSo Radio 66 is the type of "oldies" station you’ve always wanted — one that’s comprehensive with a wide and deep playlist that doesn’t insult your intelligence while also being a lot of fun — do what you can to spread the word. I don’t want this to go away any more than you do so I need your help.

Thanks!
